Most importantly, he stresses that Engineered Rigging specializes
in devising unconventional solutions to tough challenges.
“When people are looking to solve problems, we have different
ways to do that. We like to brainstorm for a while, and we like to
bring a very practical view on how to perform the work onsite, in
the field, as opposed to a standard engineer who may have never
been on a job site. We have good judgment and sound engineering
guidelines and we follow codes, but we also are very creative.”
Although Engineered Rigging has received numerous industry
awards for its role in unconventional projects, Cox says the best
recognition is completing a safe, successful job.

“Everything we do is engineered around safety. That is the number
one priority for what we do. Getting a call back ( for repeat business)
is still the best reward to me,” he said.
As a new member of PDCA, Engineered Rigging looks forward
to getting involved, taking advantage of association networking
channels to spread the word about its specialized engineering
solutions and conveyance equipment.
“Working below the earth is within our wheelhouse and it’s in
the arena of what we already do,” concluded Cox. “Our goal is to
get involved and let the folks of this community see what we have
to offer, to make their jobs easier, more economical and safer.” t
