The civil structural engineer is president of Engineered Rigging,
a Valparaiso, Ind.-based firm specializing in complex engineering,
heavy lift, rigging equipment rentals and sales and custom design
and fabrication.
Cox and his business partner, Eddy Kitchen, bring a special
brand of innovation to their work, based on years of accumulated

experience that they combined to form Engineered Rigging
in 2014.
Since then, the company has found success through its fresh
approach to the conveyance of heavy and oversized equipment,
specializing in solutions for accessing areas where a crane is not an
option. Engineered Rigging’s clients include prominent organizations
such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
(NASA), the U.S. Navy, Siemens, General Electric, Duke Energy,
FedEx and Day & Zimmermann.
