The Pile Master story began over 23 years ago in the late
’90s as a solution for outdated and inefficient pile driving
methods.
Air/steam hammers were a method that had been working for
over a century, but there had never been any significant improvements.
They also required big compressors (lots of air), were not
very efficient, the stroke was difficult to control, they were expensive
and there were no hammers available for smaller piles. On the
other hand, diesel hammers offered a more economical option, but
diesel hammers aren’t efficient, either, and don’t work in certain
soil conditions. Hydraulic hammers are a better option for efficiency,
but also expensive.
