Price says one of the bigger challenges back then was the lack of
running water at many project sites, which made it problematic for
workers to keep their hands clean with soap and water.
“You couldn’t go to the supermarket and pick up a bottle of
Purell disinfectant because the shelves were bare,” said Price.
Linde-Griffith dealt with this supply shortage by finding a local
vodka distiller that was prepared to make labelled hand sanitizer
for the company, which enabled it to stock up.
“We received supplies that have provided us throughout the
entire pandemic thus far and have a surplus ready to go as this
continues well into 2021,” said Price. t

Linde-Griffith Construction Co. was one of the founding
members of the Northeast Chapter of the Pile Driving
Contractors Association when it was established 11 years
ago, with Kevin Shannon and Chris Shannon of Linde-

pandemic. Many fellow contractors, vendors and suppliers
have been adversely impacted in some manner,” he said.
“2021 represents a recovery period for most, and it affords
everyone the opportunity to bounce back from these hurdles,
as we continue to reshape and modify our post-pandemic
approach to the everyday operations of our organization,
finding a ‘new normal.’
“While the market may not return to pre-pandemic levels
immediately in 2021, we foresee continued positive growth
and look towards PDCA to help support and guide our future.”
