Strong commitment to safety
With its strong commitment to safety, Tumanov says
BuildBaseMatic pays special attention to training and instructing
employees to minimize the risk of injury while working onsite.
“Workers are provided with personal protective equipment.
Job safety training and/or instructions are mandatory. Pile driving
machine operators receive a certificate after training to work with
the equipment.”
While the current worldwide pandemic has wreaked havoc
on many companies, Tumanov says the demand for construction
services in most countries has grown significantly. As a result,
requests for piling equipment have increased.
“We did not stop the production of equipment and are loaded
with orders. Our pile driving equipment took part in and won
the competitions for the fast installation of foundations for hospitals
in Bashkiria and the Irkutsk region,” he said. “The high
speed of construction made it possible to commission hospitals
in the shortest possible time, increasing the number of places for
COVID-19 patients.”
He says during the pandemic, the company also developed and
released a new model of the SGK 400 pile driver.
“This heavy rig can drive in piles with cross sections up to 16
inches and 30 feet in length. At the same time, the equipment
retained the advantages of small-sized vehicles for transportation
and maneuverability of operation at construction sites.”
What’s next?
As for what the near future holds, Tumanov doesn’t miss a beat.
“We see further development of our entire product line. In addition
to pile drivers, we will continue to develop the production of
ATVs and snow treatment equipment. We plan to increase our
presence in export markets and hope to find new partners.” t
“As pile drivers, we want to improve
our status, become part of a
team of professionals, learn from
each other and grow together.”
