to task, created with little input from the crew and team who do
the real work. So we bristle, chafe, think of ways around those rules
as the good Huck Finn entrepreneurs we are – just like I bristled
when after Lou sold his gas station and I had a flat tire on my
Schwinn, I started to fix my tire in the service bay only to be told,
“It’s not allowed. Insurance says so.” I left knowing that day, 1969,
that the world had changed. I did not think for the better.
I start here since we all do – the experiences growing up, growing
up with risk and reward of action, of being a country of doers.
