We’re
in this
Together
By Jason Moore, President, PDCA
Good afternoon, friends. As
I write, it’s March 27th, and
much of the next couple of
weeks is clouded with uncertainty due to
the local, national and global implications
of COVID-19. Our hearts are with those
whose lives have been impacted by this
deadly virus.
My family is healthy. All three of my kids
are still living after two weeks of home education.
My wife and I are still sleeping in the
same bed. These days, it’s the small things
that matter most. With all of the unanswered
questions, there are a few things
that I can say with certainty.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to provide
for my family while working and leading
in one of the most interesting industries
in the world. The deep foundations market
is full of people who are industrious, eager
to be a part of the solution and care deeply
for those around them. I’m proud to be
counted in that crowd. Thanks to our members,
our staff and our Board of Directors
for your efforts during these difficult days.
We will look back on this period of
uncertainty and isolation and recognize the
parts of our lives that are most valuable to
our personal and corporate growth. We will
invest in the areas that we expect to yield
the greatest fruit. Where will you invest?
I’ve not been more thankful for the benefit
provided by my active participation in a
trade association than I am today. I’m more
prepared to assess and tackle the potentially
difficult days ahead because of the
resources and relationships provided by my
association memberships. I’ve heard many
others express the same. Are you taking
advantage of your memberships?
