COVID-19: Legal resources from PDCA
law firm members
What we once considered normal no longer exists. The COVID-19
pandemic that has gripped the globe is requiring cancellations,
postponements, closures, quarantines, which present mounting
quagmires to society as we know it.
PDCA has compiled legal resources from some of the PDCA
member law firms that have developed online guidance for employers
and businesses. These law firms work extensively in construction,
contracts and employment law. The current state of affairs
around the world presents everyone a lot of uncertainty. Hopefully
the provided legal documentation can help you understand some
of the changing laws, grasp legal complexities that might relate to
your business or simply give you definitions to some of the terminology
that is regularly used in news reports that continue to bring
coverage of the COVID-19 health crisis.

PDCA cancels annual conference
In the midst of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, PDCA decided
to take precautionary measures and cancel the 2020 annual conference,
originally scheduled for May 6–9 in Phoenix, Ariz.
Companies that reserved rooms at the Arizona Grand will need
to contact the hotel directly to cancel any bookings.
Any other questions can be directed to the PDCA office. At
this time, PDCA is still moving forward with plans for the annual
Design and Installation of Cost-effective Piles (DICEP) conference,
scheduled Sept. 23–24, 2020 in New Orleans, La.

Award by the Department of Defense

Guardsman or Reservist employee for support provided directly
to the nominator.
“I’ve been on active duty over the past two summers and Jim has
always been incredibly supportive,” said senior field services sales

Reservists that work in field services including field service technician’s

“I feel honored to nominate him for this important award,”
