seen with Hurricane Sandy.”
What’s next?
A PDCA member since 2013, Abbud says the biggest benefit
is, “having colleagues that you can always reach out to if you
have questions.”
As for what the near future holds for APF, the company will
continue to improve its fleet of equipment and focus its efforts on
the training and mentoring of the personnel in the deep foundation
industry.
Said Abbud, “Concentrating on safety and quality of work
before all else creates a strong core allowing us to improve our
capabilities. Safety is paramount. For example, along with daily job
briefings, tool box talks and job hazard analysis, our employees are
continually provided with refresher classes in addition to the latest
training from our safety team. We’ve developed a safety culture that
we are extremely proud of.” t
