for DFDTA Course
Deep foundation dynamic testing and analysis course
being held in Calgary, Alberta
PDCA and Pile Dynamics, Inc. will conduct a deep foundation
dynamic testing and analysis course in Calgary, Alta.,
Canada from Feb. 24 to 27, 2015. Tentatively, the course
will be held at the Executive Royal Hotel in north Calgary, just
minutes from the Calgary International Airport. Confirmation of
the course location and hotel specifics will be available by November
2014 – watch the PDCA website for additional information.
The course will be presented in three parts: a one-day seminar
on deep foundation integrity testing and wave equation analysis; a
two-day workshop on high strain dynamic foundation testing; and
the dynamic measurement and analysis proficiency test. Interested
individuals may elect to take the entire three-day program, including
the proficiency test, or you may elect to just take the part that
suits your particular interests. The seminar, workshop and proficiency
test are priced individually to make the course selection
convenient for the participant.
Deep Foundation Integrity Testing and Wave
Equation Analysis Seminar
The seminar on deep foundation integrity testing and wave equation
analysis is intended for geotechnical, structural and construction
engineers, owners, contractors and other professionals involved
in the design, construction and specification of deep foundations.
This seminar is suitable for:
•• Those new to the field of foundation testing and analysis,
and includes an overview of non-destructive testing methods
(integrity and load testing) and their applications
•• Those specifying the testing to gain basic understanding for
assessing the results presented in reports
•• Those needing an understanding of wave equation analysis
methods
