as maritime infrastructure, urbanization and hydraulic infrastructure
When asked what the secret to his company’s success is,
Alberto Jorge Garcia Castellanos, owner of Ingenieria
Proyectos y Construcciones IPC SA de CV (IPC),
says it is simply to hire people with initiative and positive energy.
“The commitment of our employees is the main difference
from our competitors,” he said. “From directors to laborers, there
is a strong fellowship in completing our goals as a company. Our
work speaks for itself and, as a team, we can achieve any challenge.”
Formed in 2008, IPC has a central office in the Port of
Manzanillo, Colima, in addition to other locations at Guadalajara,
Jalisco, Mexico City, Mexico, La Paz, Baja California Sur,
Matamoros, Tamaulipas and Veracruz. The company has more
than 800 employees.
With an extensive construction background, Castellanos says
he formed the company so that he could take on larger and more
diverse projects such as maritime infrastructure (floating docks,
fixed docks, pile driving, dredging, breakwaters); urbanization
(streets, roadways, landing tracks); hydraulic infrastructure (sewers,
drinking water networks, pumping cams); and edification
(schools, buildings, hospitals, training pits).
IPC is a relatively new PDCA member. The company joined
