The Driven Pile Technical Seminar
On Thursday, March 29, 2018, the PDCA of South Carolina
Chapter hosted their biennial Driven Pile Technical Seminar, a
one-day technical seminar on driven pile foundations for the benefit
of contractors, structural and geotechnical engineers, architects

The PDCA of South Carolina Chapter extends sincere thanks to
Greg Canivan (S&ME) for his efforts as event chair.
Second quarter dinner meeting
On May 8, the PDCA of South Carolina Chapter held its quarterly
dinner meeting. With more than 45 contractors, engineers, owners
and associates in the room, it was a great time to build on established
relationships and make new friends in the industry.
Jim Healey of Cox Industries presented on the challenges
faced by the timber pile community during the storm season and
encouraged the industry to communicate, commit to a spirit of
community and be persistent in making its needs known. We
appreciate the support of our associates!
The chapter’s next scheduled dinner meeting is August 1, and
all are invited to attend. Get involved in your local chapters! t
