PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Utah’s Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction
Company is laying the foundation for a new
$3.6-billion redevelopment project for
Salt Lake City International Airport
By Mark Halsall
Every year, Salt Lake City International Airport serves nearly 23 million people
from facilities designed 50 years ago to service only half that many travelers. The
number of planes flying in and out of Utah’s capital city is also up dramatically
since the 1960s, as the airport has evolved to become a major flight hub for commercial
air carriers like Delta Air Lines.
